PEDAGOGICAL INNOVATION

In partnership with Hassan II University and the Confucius Institute (the Confucius Institute for Chinese Language Education and Training), the BMCE BANK Foundation for Education and the Environment initiated in 2014 the teaching of Mandarin in the Medersat.com Bouskoura school, for the benefit of 5th and 6th grade students. A Chinese teacher provides this training, for three hours twice a week.

Given the success of this experience and the enthusiasm of the students for the Chinese language and culture, the Foundation has decided to extend it to a larger number of schools in the network by opting for distance learning (videoconferencing). This project is being carried out thanks to the contribution of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China and the Confucius Institute.

This pilot experience is launched for the benefit of students from three schools: Medersat.com Bouskoura, Medersat.com Ouled Laarbi and Medersat.com Ouahdana, before being generalised to all schools in the network.
